AI voice recorders for teams
The question that brings most people here is not whether note-taking helps. It is that staff have started bringing consumer AI wearables into meetings, and there is no policy, no visibility and no idea where the audio is going.
The problem is unsanctioned, not unrecorded
Consumer AI recorders are cheap, effective and already in your building. Someone in sales bought one because it works; nobody asked where the transcripts of your client conversations are stored, under whose terms, or for how long.
Banning them outright tends to fail for the same reason banning any useful tool fails: the work pressure that made someone buy it does not go away. The alternative that actually holds is a sanctioned option that is at least as good, with the data question answered before it is asked.
What a fleet deployment is
Devices produced with your own mark on the card, shipped as one delivery, configured against your deployment so a new person is holding a working card on day one rather than filing a ticket. Current lead time is about three weeks from order.
The claim that matters, and the only one we make: captures, transcripts and daily digests are resident in your own VPC rather than ours. The recordings of your teams' conversations stay inside the environment your security team already governs, under your retention rules.
We do not claim HIPAA or SOC 2 certification, and you should be suspicious of a page that does so casually. What we can describe is the architecture and a device that records only while the button is physically held — so there is no ambient capture for a policy to have to account for. Ask us about compliance deployments and we will answer specifically rather than in a logo.
What it is not
It is not a monitoring product. There is no sentiment scoring, no talk-time analysis, no per-person activity dashboard and no manager view of who captured what. Those things do not exist, and a team considering this should know that before a manager asks for them.
First-party agents that write into other tools — invoices, CRM updates, drafted follow-ups — are coming rather than shipped, and we describe them that way deliberately.
Who is already doing it
Flexbone runs twenty chit devices branded as their own, with every capture landing in Flexbone's VPC and the intelligence customised to their operation. Their teams track notes across healthcare customers and get better data insights out of what was actually said in the room.
There is no published minimum order. Tell us the team size you have in mind and we will say plainly whether a fleet makes sense at that number or whether you should just buy cards. A founder answers — see hichit.com/enterprise.

Good questions
Where does the data live?
In your own VPC. Captures, transcripts and daily digests are resident in your cloud rather than ours, inside the environment your security team already governs.
Is chit certified for our compliance regime?
We make no certification claims. What we can describe is the architecture — VPC residency, and a device with no wake word and no always-on microphone. Ask us about compliance deployments and we will answer specifically.
Can managers see what staff captured?
There is no manager dashboard, no sentiment scoring and no activity metrics — none of that exists in the product. A deployment gives shared, searchable records, not monitoring.
What is the minimum order?
There isn't a published one. Flexbone runs twenty. Tell us your team size and we will tell you honestly whether a fleet is the right shape.
Can the devices carry our branding?
Yes — fleet runs are produced with your mark on the card alongside the chit mark.
