The card is a one-time purchase, and it is yours outright. The membership is what runs the intelligence behind it: the transcripts, the summaries, the daily brief, search, and the calendar and mail connections.
What it runs
Five things, all of them live today. Nothing here is a roadmap item.
- Unlimited transcripts. Every capture comes back written down, ready to read. No cap on how many.
- Summaries and next steps — what happened, what was decided, what needs you next. A transcript is a wall of text. This is the part you actually read: the decisions, the commitments, and the handful of things that need you.
- The daily brief. Once a day, every capture gathered into one brief — what happened, what was decided, what's next.
- Calendar and mail connections. Opt in per account. A capture lands against the meeting it came from, and a next step becomes an event or a drafted reply. Disconnect any account at any time.
- Ask anything in plain language across everything you've captured. Ask the way you'd ask a colleague — who said what, what did we agree — and it answers from everything it has heard.

The device is charged at checkout; the $9 is not. The membership sits on the same order with nothing charged for it, and starts billing 14 days after checkout. There is no second checkout and no card to add later.
Without it
The card captures without a membership; the intelligence does not run without one. Cancel it and the card still records — you just do the reading yourself. The transcripts, the briefs, the connections and search pause until the membership is back.

Is there a subscription?
The card is a one-time purchase. A $9 monthly membership runs the intelligence — unlimited transcripts, summaries and next steps, the daily brief, calendar and mail connections, and search across everything you've captured.
When does the membership start billing?
14 days after checkout. The device is charged on day one; the $9 is not. Cancel any time — one email to ahmad@hichit.com does it.
Can I cancel?
Any time. One email to ahmad@hichit.com does it. The card stays yours, and it still records without a membership.
What if I return the card?
Thirty days, free. Email ahmad@hichit.com, send it back by mail, and the card is refunded in full. Say so in the same email and the membership is cancelled with it.
Do I need it to record?
No. The card records only while the button is held, with or without a membership, and the display shows you when it is capturing. The membership is what turns that recording into a transcript, a summary and next steps.
